The team at Little Gallery in Trentham held their annual Winter Show this year, showcasing a stellar lineup of 16 regional fine artists.

 

Each year the gallery invites regional artists in various stages of their careers; living in, and around the Hepburn Shire and Macedon Ranges, to participate in its annual winter group fundraising exhibition.

The gallery has been proud to exhibit local artists celebrating regional identity through art: Dale Cox, Nadia Kliendanze, Julie McKenzie, Mark Dober, Jill Noble, Antoinette Braybrook, Neil Matterson, Brian Falkenberg, Rowena Hannan, Diane Thompson, Maxine McKee, Jonathon Lane, Fiona Orr, Jennifer Leggett, Jody Galvin and Emma McAdam-Marmont in collaboration with Struan Hopwood, Rose Wilson, Helen Cottle, Kim Haughie, Maria Coyle and Jimmy Rix.

 

Central to the Winter Show is the fundraising element, whereby part of the proceeds from all art sales are donated to a local charitable organisation and this year's recipient was Trentham Health's 'Treehouse Program'.

Trentham Health's 'Treehouse Program’ supports local people living at home with dementia, and promotes independence and engagement by maintaining social and community connections in a positive, safe environment. This enables residents to live well and to remain part of their local community. In addition, it provides families and carers an opportunity for much needed respite.

The gallery was proud to once again hold its much supported art raffle of generously donated original artworks by prominent local artists, whereby 100% of the proceeds were donated to

Trentham Health's 'Treehouse Program’.
 

The Winter Show Opening Night was held on Friday 11th July at 5:30pm and was officially opened by Antoinette Braybrook - painter, jeweller and CEO of Djirra.
