Kim Haughie is an independent studio ceramic artist residing and working in Springmount situated in the beautiful central highlands of Victoria. Primarily she creates wheel thrown utilitarian pieces that are inspired by the natural world, exploring her sense of place and connection to the elemental.
Kim graduated with a Diploma of Ceramics at the Ballarat Federation Univerisity in 2010. In the same year she was invited to exhibit her work in South Korea and was awarded a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade travel grant to partake in the international group show and attend an extensive series of traditional pottery workshops.
